Mission Statement

JAB — Justice Against Bullies exists to support and protect youth and families by creating safe, inclusive environments that address bullying head-on. We equip young people with the education, life skills, and confidence they need to thrive — because every child deserves to grow up knowing their worth.

Through anti-bullying education and hands-on cooking classes and Acts of Kindness, JAB helps youth build confidence, empathy, and life skills — one meal, one lesson, one voice at a time.
Vision

A world where no child spends their adult life undoing what bullying taught them to believe about themselves.

Core Values
1
Safety
Every child has the right to a safe environment — protected, respected, and free to be themselves.
2
Dignity
No child is defined by what they've been through — only by who they're becoming.
3
Empowerment
We build capability, not just awareness — giving youth tools, confidence, and voice.
4
Community
Healing happens together. Connection is the antidote to isolation.
5
Inclusion
We meet every young person exactly where they are and celebrate who they are.
6
Kindness
Kindness is a skill. We teach it, model it, and practice it every single day.
Why I Started JAB

I started JAB so that no child has to spend decades undoing what bullying taught them to believe about themselves.

— Sheneen Brown, Founder & President

JAB exists to change the trajectory of young lives — and its roots are deeply personal.

In my later years, I came to understand how profoundly childhood bullying had shaped me — my confidence, my voice, and my ability to show up fully in the world. Despite being smart and capable, I spent decades held back by self-doubt planted in childhood. That realization changed everything.

Every program we create, every class we teach, and every young person we serve is a step toward the future I wish I'd had — and the one every child deserves.

Our Programs

JAB provides hands-on programming that addresses bullying not by punishing it — but by replacing it with confidence, kindness, and belonging.
